  1. The explosion of talk about sex in newspapers and magazines — the explosion of think-pieces about sex and sexuality — can only mean one thing: boredom.

2. Our thinking is extended through a matrix of thinking-tools: hardware like phone and laptop; and software — various apps and programs. We think very little now — we’ve exported most of our thinking to this mesh of hardware and software; this ecosystem brain-extenders. We should start asking who we are then, if we’re not originating our own thoughts, and merely participating in them.

3. Philosophy without poetry is strictly academic — strictly speaking, a waste of time.

4. A model of Mind that does not account for flesh and blood — for the body — is strictly a model of computation — strictly speaking, a waste of time.
