You do not hear people discuss their aspiration to learn; you hear them promote their latest political-historical revelation. Simple causalities rule minds. Capitalism causes; racism causes; Trump causes — and so on. A new free thought needs to be carved out of the fog of insufferable wokeness that has descended over everything.
Our secret desire: to die with COVID — to be a victim. Death without COVID on the death certificate is not interesting; it needs to be dressed up, reified by contact with The Virus.
Longhaul Covid, similarly, is just another deathcult, where victims digitally gather around the burning effigy of the Orange Bad Man to hurl insults and curses.
