experiencing it all again the shattering of my life hears its own poetry I’d listen to the rain after school there was no happiness just life which was happy

like a marathon runner reporting the news of the victory back to Athens I arrive but dead on my feet

scattered kiss her neck my phone was off are you upset no but she’s lying

surface once like the moon from behind the clouds this emotion reflecting the sun coming up after my eyes have blurred a hand reaches for the oxygen in my lungs my vision goes blue
