  1. Because we’re stupid, we’re exploitable.
  2. Because we’re stupid, we build bombs and send them to CNN — as if that could make anything better.
  3. Because we’re stupid, we go to rallies in lame red hats and bring our children.
  4. Because we’re stupid, we’re politically correct.
  5. American politics: trying to bake a delicious cake with putrid ingredients.
  6. The American left: mostly college students who think it’s cool.
  7. The American left: humorless and self-righteous.
  8. The American right: entirely ignorant.
  9. The American right: people who have never left their small town + the super-wealthy.
  10. Midterms: certain to be disappointing because congressional elections can’t make our lives more meaningful, restore our environment, or create more understanding between people.
  11. Politics, like antibiotics, are overprescribed. Soon, we won’t be able to fight off even the most benign diseases.
  12. From The Atlantic:

Progressive activists are much more likely to be rich, highly educated — and white. They are nearly twice as likely as the average to make more than $100,000 a year. They are nearly three times as likely to have a postgraduate degree. And while 12 percent of the overall sample in the study is African-American, only 3 percent of progressive activists are. With the exception of the small tribe of devoted conservatives, progressive activists are the most racially homogeneous group in the country.
