  1. The human being is a failed poem.
  2. When you see The Spectacle, close your eyes and ears. There you are safe. If you see The Spectacle inside you, everything is lost.
  3. We don’t write on computers, we type. This shouldn’t be forgotten. Contact between pen and page is critical: that is when our thoughts manifest themselves, like ghosts made material.
  4. I’m so sick of health fads.
  5. The consciousness of consciousness — is that us?
  6. Only immoral people can claim to be ethical. The immoralist is really an artist of ethics.
  7. Anxiety is a market demand.
  8. The higher the cost of pleasure, the lower the quality of life, the more degraded the civilization.
